Our story began in 2005, when Ivy decided that she had "had enough" of being a graphic designer for someone else's "Grown up" clothing company, and wanted to start her very own business. Her real passion was for babies and kids, wanting to focus on wholesome and family friendly designs and networking, not adults. Ivy took all the memories from her own childhood and imagination and combined them with suggestions from children just like yours, such as her own kids and nieces, (little partners in crime as we like to call them here at Playtime Apparel).

Gaining inspiration from their refrigerator art and play sessions, we have created a growing catalogue of playful, fun designs with vivid colors and a fresh youthful perspective. We like to think of ourselves as a small group of really big kids on a playground rather than a bunch of boring adults in an office.

We would like to dedicate this site to all the little boys and girls and hope that they never stop pretending and dreaming.
